We understand your kids!

We feel that there is a need in our community to create safe and accessible summer camps and workshops for kids with unique learning challenges, especially now in the aftermath of limited interactions due to the pandemic. For children who benefit from a calm environment, small groups, and low child-leader ratios, we have a variety of summer camp and workshop options for ages 7 to 16 (or abilities in that range). Your child will thrive in their ideal setting while learning new skills, developing relationships, and having fun with others.

We thoroughly understand diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, ASD, FAS, and learning anxieties which is why our camps are so successful. Mind Over Learning camps and workshops differ from others in that we offer morning and afternoon half-day camps with distinctive focuses so that no child is left out.

Junior Creative Arts & Engineering Camp

In Person ・High Support・Half Day ($325 / week)

Explore a wide array of art and crafting mediums to produce beautiful masterpieces! Work alongside others to create group projects as a team.

Our Junior Creative Arts and Engineering Camps focus on coloring, building, painting, and more!

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 7 to 10.

One of our primary learning goals throughout each Junior Creative Arts and Engineering Camp is to help kids learn through sensory development. We guide our kids through all activities, engaging their sense of exploration and encouraging them to use all parts of their brain to play, create, and discover.

Pre-teen Creative Arts & Engineering Camp

In Person ・Moderate Support・Half Day ($325 / week)

Explore a wide array of art and crafting mediums to produce beautiful masterpieces! Work alongside others to create group projects as a team.

Our Pre-Teen Creative Arts and Engineering Camps focus on artistry with different mediums and exploratory engineering projects for groups and individuals!

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 9 to 12.

One area of focus for each Pre-Teen Creative Arts and Engineering Camp is to foster and develop interpersonal collaboration and socialization through art and projects. Kids learn to design, plan, create, build and discover through directed and open-ended projects.

VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS

COVID-19 SAFETY:  Life Skills Workshops will be offered exclusively online as we continue to monitor public health recommendations from the experts.

Pre-teen Life Skills Workshop

Virtual ・Group Facilitation・Half Day ($300 / week)

We teach highly applicable life competency skills in interactive ways while fostering healthy online social interaction with peers as they develop skills together and practice relationship-building.

Our Pre-Teen Life Skills Workshop focuses on health and safety, self-determination and advocacy, relationship building, meeting new people, and developing hobbies!

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 10 to 13.

Teen Life Skills Workshop

Virtual ・Group Facilitation・Half Day ($300 / week)

We teach highly applicable life competency skills in interactive ways while fostering healthy online social interaction with peers as they develop skills together and practice relationship-building.

Our Teen Life Skills Workshop focuses on health and safety, self-advocacy, safe and healthy social skills, career and employment considerations, community participation, personal finance, transportation and home living skills!

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 13 to 16.

Junior Computer Skills Workshop

Virtual ・High Support・Half Day ($300 / week)

Explore the computer world with guided instruction for real life applicable use. Learn practical skills and develop a better understanding of computers for daily use.

Our Junior Computer Skills Workshop focuses on skill development in typing, using a search engine, making a Google account, using word processors, making a slideshow, organizing files and folders, basic computer troubleshooting, avoiding viruses, and general security and safety.

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 7 and up.

Coding Workshop

Virtual ・Group Facilitation・Half Day ($300 / week)

Delve into the programming world with a guided introduction to coding in Python and/or Scratch! Learn practical skills and develop a better understanding of the role of code in modern technology.

This year we will offer Coding specifically for Python and Scratch designed for kids who are starting out in the world of programming.

Our Coding Workshop focuses on computer knowledge, programming languages, and independent / group coding projects!

It is designed for age levels or equivalent abilities of 12 to 15.
