Students who have disabilities in mathematics, or students who perform poorly in math seldom get a recommendation for an evaluation. They are told they are just not good at math. The effects of math failure coupled with math illiteracy in adult life can seriously harm daily living and vocational choices.
Mind Over Learning has designed math programs that target the key problems with math depending on the student’s difficulties, which may include:

  • basic operations
  • language of math
  • math procedures
  • abstract thinking
  • visual-spatial aspects (poor number sense)

The program plans are further individualized based on the student’s neuroprofile created during the initial assessment.
